Loose Ends Left Open is a body of work shaped by wordless grief, personal history, and the quiet act of painting through it. Each portrait begins as a puzzle—figures drawn from photo references, clothed in loose, menswear-inspired garments, suspended in moments of interior stillness. The work doesn't seek resolution. Instead, it holds space for what’s incomplete—for sadness mistaken as anger, for memory that shifts, and for the quiet, sacred place where feeling lives unspoken.
